Gaze at the Gatehouse, tucked away to its side is The Gatehouse Lodge. Look carefully, it’s easy to miss. Step into history, find comfort and style. In the front door, out the back, and discover Easton Walled Gardens.

The Kitchen and the Sitting Room
Feel the warmth of the heated stone floors on your toes, put the kettle on, a slice of bread in the toaster and the day has started well. Snug in the sitting room, your hands round cup of coffee, throw another log on the woodburner, and it just got better.

THE LIBRARY AND THE GARDEN
Afternoon tea on your own terrace, dip into a book from the mini-library, immerse yourself in the Gardens. Stride out from the Lodge and relish the feel of the flowers in the Velvet Border. Explore further. Discover the heavenly scents of the White Space Garden. Take in the Terraces and stroll alongside the river, watching the wildlife enjoying the evening sunlight.

THE BEDROOM AND THE BATHROOM
Up the spiral stairs, settle in for the night, soak in a warm bath, sink into crisp sheets and…..dream of wandering in the gardens.

Out of the gate, under the archway, and into The Courtyard. Browse The Courtyard Shop for homewares and gifts and Griffin of Easton, our specialist stationery and artists’ materials shop, or stop for coffee, lunch or something sweet in The Coffee Room.
Eat out, eat in. Visit the Estate’s Pub, The Cholmeley Arms, with its yummy, home-cooked food and inviting open wood fires, or pick up locally-sourced ingredients from Jade’s Farm Shop next to the Pub.
We now offer Afternoon Teas in The Courtyard, or in your cottage. These cost £26pp and are for a minimum of 2 people. They can be ordered when you book your stay, and please note that we do need 3 days’ notice. If you could put which date you want your Afternoon Tea, and where you want it, in the message box on check-out we’ll make sure it’s there for you. Please also let us know about any allergies.
We’ve got our own ‘beach hut’ in the Gardens, which we love to share with you. The Meadow Retreat can be all yours for the day – sit in peaceful comfort, looking out over the ancient Park with with grazing sheep, mewing Red Kites and clacking wrens for company. There is a small extra cost for this – please ask at time of booking if you’re interested.
We’re also lucky to have an amazing yoga teacher, Laura, living in Easton, and she can offer private, one-on-one yoga classes in your cottage or loft during your stay with us. She can be reached at Laura.jekyll@gmail.com or on 07795 908 538.

- Easily accessible from the A1, which is about half a mile away, on the other side of Easton Park.
