EASTON HOLIDAY COTTAGES
Luxury Holiday Cottages near Melton MOWBRAY
A country stay near Melton Mowbray
Easton Holiday Cottages offer a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of Melton Mowbray and the Vale of Belvoir.
Set on a historic country estate surrounded by the Lincolnshire countryside, our cottages combine the independence of self-catering with the pleasure of having Easton Walled Gardens just outside your door.
There are cottages and Lofts for two as well as larger houses for families and groups of friends, making Easton equally suited to a weekend away or a longer stay exploring this part of the East Midlands.
Cottages with character
Our holiday cottages have been created from old Estate buildings, each retaining something of its original character.
Inside, you’ll find comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchens and welcoming spaces in which to settle in. Some cottages have woodburning stoves and private outdoor spaces, and all welcome dogs.
They aren’t intended to feel like identical hotel rooms. Each is a little different, and that’s part of their charm.
The gardens on your doorstep
Guests staying at Easton have Easton Walled Gardens to enjoy throughout their stay, including outside normal visitor opening hours.
Those quieter hours are a particularly lovely time to explore the 12 acres of terraces, meadows and borders. Through the year the garden changes from snowdrops and spring bulbs to roses, meadow flowers and Easton’s renowned sweet peas.
The Courtyard is also home to our Coffee Room, The Courtyard shop for homewares and gifts, and Griffin of Easton, our specialist stationery and artists’ materials shop.
luxury Holiday Lets, A PERFECT JOURNEY FROM MELTON MOWBRAY
Explore Melton Mowbray and the Vale of Belvoir
Melton Mowbray is one of England’s best-known food towns, famous for its pork pies and association with Stilton cheese.
Between Easton and Melton lies the Vale of Belvoir, with its villages, country pubs and rolling landscape overlooked by Belvoir Castle. It’s an area made for leisurely exploring — a walk in the morning, a good lunch and perhaps somewhere interesting to visit in the afternoon.
Stamford and Rutland are also within easy reach, so there is plenty to discover without spending hours in the car.
Self-catering, at your own pace
One of the pleasures of a cottage holiday is not having to organise yourself around somebody else’s timetable.
Shop locally and cook at home, book a table at a country pub, spend the day exploring or stay at Easton and enjoy the gardens.
It’s a comfortable and wonderfully flexible way to discover this part of England.
